Privacy Policy — WEXA

WEXA: Wallet Expense Analytics is a local desktop application. Your data stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or share your personal or financial information.

What WEXA stores

All information you enter or import — including transactions, budgets, categories, household member names, and app settings — is stored locally on your computer, usually in %APPDATA%\WEXA\. You may choose a different storage location in the app.

What we do not do

• We do not require an online account.
• We do not sync your data to the cloud.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
• We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
• We do not access your bank accounts. You import files you export from your bank yourself.

Files you choose to use

When you import CSV or Excel files, export backups, or save PDF reports, WEXA only accesses files you select. Nothing is uploaded to us.

Microsoft Store

If you install WEXA from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft may process information related to your Store account, downloads, and updates under its own privacy policy.

Deleting your data

You can delete data within the app, remove the database file from your computer, or uninstall WEXA. Exported backup files remain wherever you saved them until you delete them.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do.
